Cygames is releasing “Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond” (iOS / Android / PC, hereafter “Shadowverse WB”) on October 29. Today, we’re exclusively revealing the new card “True King’s Blade – Golden Knight”, which will be featured in the upcoming expansion pack “Skybound Dragons / The Six Dragons of the Azure Sky.”
The character depicted on “True King’s Blade – Golden Knight” is one of the Seven Suns Knights from Granblue Fantasy. The Seven Suns Knights are unique, absolute beings possessing extraordinary power, each bearing their armor’s color as a nickname. This particular knight received an edict from the True King and has been secretly working to realize his ideal.

In Shadowverse WB, this card appears as a 7-cost royal follower with the [Fanfare] ability that allows players to select one of three [Modes], making it highly adaptable. In Granblue Fantasy, she had a unique ability allowing her to project her own or an ally’s ability and gain corresponding enhancements—this mechanic seems well-represented through the card’s [Mode] system.
The stats are 6/6. While its damage output isn’t ideal for directly reducing opponent life totals, this card truly shines in its clever use of mode selection. The available [Modes] are: “Auto-Overevolve,” “Deal 4 damage to all opponent’s followers,” and “Heal your leader 4 times.” Depending on the situation, you can strengthen your board with Overevolution, reclaim control via AOE (area-of-effect) removal, or extend survival through healing—making it easy to choose optimal responses.
Additionally, when played using [Enhance_9], all three [Modes] activate simultaneously, making this card capable of dramatically shifting the tide of battle in a single turn. The ability to avoid depleting evolution resources is another welcome benefit, suggesting strong utility from midgame through endgame.
Like the royal finisher “Levion’s Thunder – Albert,” this follower also possesses [Enhance_9], which may be quite frustrating for opponents due to its wide-ranging impact. With [Enhance_9], you can even recover 4 health points while cleanly taking down “Dual Wheel Night Journey – Ginsetsu & Yuzuki.” Thumbnail image No.007: Exclusive preview of “True King’s Blade – Golden Knight,” a versatile royal follower with three [Modes] that offer flexible gameplay
