This game is a detective adventure where Eiji Azuma, a former police officer turned handyman, finds himself wrongly accused and pursued by the authorities. Orange Co., Ltd. has launched the Nintendo Switch game Escape Goat: The Wrongful Accusation of Azuma Eiji today, October 23. For a limited time until November 5, the regular price of 1,480 yen (tax included) is discounted by 33% to 980 yen (tax included).

The demo version has also been released simultaneously.

The game’s concept was developed by Daizo Kainuma (Orange), known for works such as Category I: Survivors on the Edge, while illustrations are provided by Robin Kishida, who previously worked on titles like LUX PAIN and Arc Rise Fantasia. This new suspense experience combines “escape” with “investigation.”

Story

Eiji Azuma runs a handyman business in Nagikahama City, K Prefecture.
One day, he receives an unexpected phone call.

The caller is his childhood friend and acclaimed rising detective, Kyoutarou Kuga.
He asks Eiji to assist in investigating the sensational “Second-Generation Lily Serial Murder Case” currently shaking society.
Eiji readily agrees—until he’s suddenly framed for a murder that occurs immediately after, and ends up being placed on the wanted list as the prime suspect.

Now pursued by police and unable to trust even law enforcement, Eiji sets out on dangerous investigations of his own in order to uncover the real culprit—
