10 Chambers Celebrates 10 Years with Documentary on Den of Wolves Development

October 23, 2025 – Stockholm, Sweden: Swedish game studio 10 Chambers, founded in 2015, has unveiled a new documentary spotlighting the creative vision behind its upcoming sci-fi heist action title, Den of Wolves.

Through interviews with key developers and gameplay footage, the documentary reveals how the team draws from experiences on titles like GTFO, PAYDAY: The Heist, and PAYDAY 2 to craft a cooperative action game set in “Midway City,” a corporate-dominated dystopia where players survive as freelance criminals.

The film unveils 10 Chambers’ distinctive approach, including the creation of over 300 fictional corporate brands, and how architectural inspiration from brutalist buildings and Kowloon Walled City shaped the design of Midway City—a massive megastructure metropolis.

Co-founder Oscar J-T Holm said:
“We’re investing enormous time and effort to make Midway feel like a real city you could actually walk through. While it’s not an open world, we believe giving meaning to every building and brand deepens the game’s overall value.”

This year marks 10 years since 10 Chambers’ founding. To celebrate, the studio has launched a special website (www.10chambers.com/10years) featuring rare photos and previously unpublished stories from its history.

Marketing Director Robin Björkell said:
“To be honest, I didn’t think anyone would care about a studio’s anniversary. But when we looked back, there were so many interesting photos and anecdotes that it felt wrong not to share them—especially some tales never told before.”

Additionally, the studio is currently hosting a 100-hour live stream event called Streamathon, in collaboration with the GTFO development team and community. The event supports the International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP), an issue deeply meaningful to 10 Chambers’ team members.
