This is the adorable orange-colored, house-like booth located along the wall near the passage moving from Hall 6 to Hall 7. A campaign is currently running here: visitors can receive gifts by following the official X account or adding the game to their Steam wishlist.

However, the demo stations are not open to the general public and are limited to media and influencers. Having had a chance to play through it briefly, we’ll share what this game is like.

“Lily’s World” is a life simulation centered around a small country. After being accidentally shrunk, players wander into a mysterious world hidden in a corner of a desk. To the tiny player, everyday objects—teacups, books, flowers—are all enormous; ordinary life has transformed into an entirely new and unknown realm.

Players take on the role of a “World Creator” who builds an island in this world. Team up with tiny people named “Lilys,” who are the same size as you, chat with them, exchange gifts, and enjoy heartwarming daily life.

The demo starts in the central area of the World Creator’s home island, called “Home Island.” You can freely style your outfit and hair, place favorite furniture using the construction mode, and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.

The smartphone-like device called “Lilifon,” which functions as the game’s menu, lets you access various features like changing outfits. You can also contact Lilys whose contacts are in your list. It appears that you can invite a Lily to live on your Home Island—though you’ll need to prepare their ideal new home with furniture they love. Once you build a satisfying house using crafted materials, the Lily will move in.

How do you gather materials? Use Lilifon to summon a ride-like transportation service called “Ubo” and go out exploring. This time, we explored a beautiful area covered in flowers at the location named “Wupa’s Forest.” Though it appears as an endless field of flowers, remember that World Creators are tiny—so these flowers serve not only as platforms but also as sources for collecting pollen. Different types of flowers allow different methods of harvesting pollen: stepping on them or shaking them.

Various tools also come in handy during resource gathering. For example, resources out of reach can be knocked down with a slingshot to retrieve them. You can even carry large bottles in both hands—these collect sunlight and transform it into usable materials—a whimsical touch.

Tools also play a key role in dungeons—yes, this game features dungeons too. When visiting the location called “The Deep Well of Dark Stars,” you’ll find it’s an area with randomly generated 10 floors. While inside, a “Psychic” energy meter gradually depletes, so aim to gather as much material as possible before it runs out. In the final version, players will be able to descend deeper, and even if they exit early, collected materials can still be brought back.

Each floor is scattered with Dark Stars, one of which hides an entrance to the next level. You must break them all until you find the correct one. To destroy a Dark Star, attack it using a slingshot or a candy on a stick (which functions like a hammer). Even if breaking a Dark Star doesn’t reveal an exit, valuable building materials are often obtained—so go ahead and smash as many as possible to collect lots.

Unfortunately, public playthroughs aren’t available at the booth during the general admission days. However, you can see it in action through an 8-minute gameplay video. With anticipation for this grand adventure in a tiny nation, consider adding “Lily’s World” to your wishlist on each store page. Note that the Nintendo Switch 2 version’s store page will be released later.
