Square Enix today (October 24, 2025) released the final trailer for HD-2D version “Dragon Quest I & II”, scheduled for release on October 30.

As part of the promotional campaign for HD-2D version Dragon Quest I & II, we are releasing the web drama episode titled “Love? Friendship?”. This continues from the previous web drama featuring a baseball-loving boy and his classmate girl, who discuss “love” and “friendship” through their experiences with Dragon Quest. Be sure to watch!

The special content “DQ Natalie,” a collaborative project with web magazine Natalie covering the latest news and features on music, manga/anime, comedy, film, and stage performances, has returned. Shinya Yamada, born October 17, 1991, from Osaka Prefecture.
Issei Ishii, born May 28, 1988, from Osaka Prefecture.
The two are classmates at NSC Osaka’s 34th generation cohort, forming their comedy duo in 2014. Yamada previously teamed up with Fire Thunder?Yama of the same class. Ishii, skilled in dance, founded “Ishii Dancers,” specializing in Indian dance. They reached the final round of M-1 Grand Prix for the first time in 2017, finished as runners-up in 2022, and secured third place in 2023. They won NHK’s Kōhaku Manzai Contest in 2019 and the Song Comedy King Battle in 2020. In March 2024, they graduated from Yoshimoto Manzai Theater in Osaka and relocated their base to Tokyo in April of that year. As of June 2025, Yamada hosts the TV show “Heroines TV” (TOKYO MX).

· Hinatazaka46 (Hinatazaka Forty-Six)
Launched in 2015 as the younger sister group of Keyakizaka46, produced by Akimoto Yasushi, with an initial lineup of 12 members. In June 2018, they released their first album The Moment You Start Running under the Keikazaka46 name. They officially changed their group name to Hinatazaka46 in February 2019 and debuted their first single “Kyun” in March of that year, earning a spot at the NHK Red & White Song Contest for the first time. In March 2022, they successfully held a live concert at Tokyo Dome—the long-cherished goal since formation. Their 11th single released in May 2024, Kimi wa Honey Due, introduced their first-ever selection system: 16 selected members performed the title track, while the remaining 12 formed “Hiragana Hinata” and held their debut solo concert at Pacifico Yokohama National Hall in July. In April 2025, Sasaki Kumi and Sasaki Mirei graduated after performing live; in May, Takase Aina also graduated—completing the departure of all original first-generation members.
In March 2025, ten new fifth-generation members joined, followed by the release of their 14th single Love Yourself! under the new lineup, marking their debut concert at Tokyo’s National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium. Their latest release is the 15th single Onegai Bacha!, set for September.
