Taito has released an update for its Nintendo Switch download-only title, Groove Coaster: Future Performers, on October 23, 2025, adding new content. Coinciding with this update, a sale is now live offering the base game at 40% off.
This update introduces three classic tracks from past Groove Coaster series titles: “Scarlet Police’s 24-Hour Ghetto Patrol,” “DX Super-Performance Full Metal Girl,” and “Full-Course.” Additionally, Chapter 4 of the Story Mode titled “Aria Himegawa Arc” has been added.
Furthermore, a new DLC titled “Touhou Project Arrangement Music Pack” is now available, featuring six additional tracks. Purchasing this pack allows these songs to be used in “Play Mode,” and they will also appear as mission tracks within Story Mode.

- Added “Skip Function” in Story Mode to bypass stages other than HARD and BOSS.
- Added “Retry Function” allowing immediate re-play directly from the result screen.
- Expanded options, including customizable display position/conditions for FAST/SLOW indicators, enable/disable stick input, multi-input settings, and more.
● Changes & Adjustments
- Improved filtering function in the song selection menu to allow selecting songs based on unmet conditions.
- Adjusted background visuals for “Sweetone Memory” and “Bunny Land.”
- Adjusted character display size and positioning for “Kogura Rikka” and “GRV-0728 GENE.”
