Switch2 "ELDEN RING: Tarnished Edition" Release Date Changed to 2026 for Game Performance Adjustments

Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have announced that the release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive title “ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition” has been changed from its originally planned release within 2025 to 2026, citing “the need for further performance adjustments” as the reason.
This title includes the base game “ELDEN RING” and its DLC “SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE.” It features various new additions, such as new weapons, four types of new armor, and visual customization options for the spirit steed Torent (three variants total).
Additionally, these newly added elements are also scheduled to be available via download on other platforms, which will likewise see their release dates moved to 2026.
