The Computer Entertainment Supplier Association (CESA) announced today (October 24, 2025) that the total viewership for the official program of Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025) reached 6.069 million.
Last year’s TGS 2024 reported over 15.96 million views for its official programs, making direct comparison difficult; however, this year too saw the highest viewership on the Chinese video streaming platform DouYu.

The Computer Entertainment Supplier Association (CESA; President: Haruhiko Tsujimoto) is pleased to announce that the total viewership for the official program of Tokyo Game Show 2025 (TGS 2025), held from September 25 (Thursday) to 28 (Sunday) at Makuhari Messe, reached 6,069,656.
The official programs—launched as an online initiative since 2020—are distributed across various platforms including the TGS YouTube channel, X official account, and Niconico. For audiences in China, video media such as DouYu and Bilibili were used; for Europe and North America, collaboration with IGN—the world’s largest gaming media—was established to broadcast content.
Most programs also included simultaneous English interpretation or subtitled versions alongside the original Japanese audio. Some programs even featured live Chinese translation, enabling wide international viewership.
As a result, combining both live and archived broadcasts, the total number of unique viewers reached 6,069,656 people
