On October 24, 2025, Razer announced the Razer Raiju V3 Pro, a wireless and wired gamepad designed for e-sports gamers, compatible with PCs and PlayStation 5.
The product is officially licensed by Sony PlayStation, and pre-orders are now available through Razer’s direct sales website, priced at ¥32,980 (tax included).

Originally a PlayStation-exclusive gamepad series, the Raiju line had not seen a new product since the launch of [Razer Raiju Ultimate] and [Razer Raiju TE] in 2018. Since then, Razer’s “Wolverine” series has served as the company’s main offering for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation users (related article).
In this sense, the Raiju V3 Pro marks a long-awaited return—after seven years.

The Razer Raiju V3 Pro features Razer’s proprietary low-latency wireless technology, “Razer HyperSpeed Wireless” (hereinafter referred to as HyperSpeed), and also supports wired connectivity via USB.
On the hardware side, it closely resembles the existing [Razer Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC].
For instance, like its counterpart, the Raiju V3 Pro uses a Tunnel Magneto Resistance (TMR) sensor in its symmetrical analog sticks—offering high precision and excellent durability with minimal drift.
The main difference lies in the polling rate: up to 250Hz when using HyperSpeed wireless connection, and up to 2000Hz via USB wired connection. Although not reaching 8000Hz, this still provides exceptionally fast communication for a gamepad.

All components can be stored inside a dedicated carrying pouch. Thumbnail image for Image Gallery No. 004 / Wireless Gamepad for PC & PS5, “Razer Raiju V3 Pro” Released

The △/○/×/□ buttons feature Razer’s “Mecha-Tactile PBT Action Button,” rated for approximately 3 million keystrokes, delivering tactile feedback while achieving an ultra-low latency of just 0.65ms.
This appears to be essentially the same switch used in the [A/B/X/Y] buttons on the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K PC.

The controller includes two additional buttons on the bumpers and four on the back—especially notable is that the rear buttons offer ultra-low latency comparable to those found on gaming mice, with easy detachability.

The extra buttons are located near the base of the grip. They can be removed if not needed. Thumbnail image for Image Gallery No. 003 / Wireless Gamepad for PC & PS5, “Razer Raiju V3 Pro” Released

Function assignments for the extra buttons, switching between 8-directional and 4-directional D-pad input, adjusting analog stick dead zones, and customizing trigger actuation points for [L2/R2] can all be configured using Razer’s integrated software, “Razer Synapse 4.”

Given its comprehensive feature set, the Raiju V3 Pro is certainly a premium product—though at this price point, it remains an appealing option for e-sports gamers who prefer gamepads.
