Sega has released a Ver. 2.3 update for the RPG Persona 5: The Phantom X (PC / iOS / Android).
This update introduces Main Story Chapter 3, Act 2: “Unselfish Love”, in which players join forces with the Student Council President, Taneura Riko, to confront strange events unfolding within the school.
By completing objectives in the newly added content of Act 2, players can earn up to 1,280 “Free Crystals”—usable for contracts (gacha) and other features. Additionally, they will receive “Joyful Medal,” which can be exchanged for new ★5 weapons for the protagonist, as well as an exclusive event item: “Plum Blossom Bracelet.” Collecting these bracelets allows players to obtain high-rank Persona “Ku-Furin” (Rank VII).

Additionally, the new ★5 thief “Kitami Kiyoshi” (CV: Shinichi Ogata) has been introduced into the “PICKUP Thief Contract,” which increases the chance of encountering specific thieves. His exclusive weapon is “Weapon Supply: Silent Smoke.”
Kitami Kiyoshi possesses two distinct states: “Doctor” and “Buster.” In Doctor mode, using skill damage applies a “Bleed” status to enemies. The damage from Bleed increases further as the player raises their Status Effect Hit rate. In Buster mode, accumulated Bleed on an enemy can be consumed to deal massive damage.
Also, starting with this update, a new draw system called “TARGET” has been introduced alongside the traditional “CHANCE” method. While TARGET requires more draws to guarantee a ★5 and offers a lower overall ★5 drop rate than CHANCE, it ensures that only picked-up thieves appear as ★5s. Furthermore, after 165 pulls using TARGET, players will receive "★5 Thief Lottery Ticket 01," which grants one random ★5 thief from the “Thief Draft.”

This update features the long-awaited release of Main Story Chapter 3, Act 2, along with a special celebration event offering luxurious rewards. Additionally, voice actor Shinichi Ogata joins as the new ★5 thief “Kitami Kiyoshi.”
