Digital Cybercherries announced on October 23, 2025, their upcoming title “DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER” and released a trailer.

This game is the latest installment in the series following the horror game “DON’T SCREAM”. It retains the core gameplay from its predecessor, where players instantly lose if they scream loudly enough to trigger the microphone input detection, while now introducing support for online cooperative play.

The goal of the game is to survive one night in a creepy forest that may harbor serial killers or supernatural phenomena. The gameplay screen mimics video footage from a camcorder, and time only progresses when the player moves. Additionally, players must search for battery replacements for the camcorder, making it impossible to simply hide somewhere and wait out the night.

Players can communicate with others nearby via voice chat, allowing them to discuss which direction to take or warn teammates of approaching danger—key elements in progressing toward victory. Naturally, this communication must be done quietly, so maintaining calmness will also be essential.

The game features two modes: one where a loud scream results in an instant game over, or another where only the player who screamed is eliminated and returns as the pursuing “Hunter.” Playing with close friends might be particularly fun if players choose to assign roles at the start—such as designating someone as the Hunter initially.
