Wemade Max unveiled the first official trailer for its upcoming title “Project TAL” on October 23, 2025. The game is scheduled for release in 2027 and will be available not only on PC but also on home gaming consoles.
※This article is based on information announced in Korea.
The game is an AAA single-player action RPG developed by MADNGINE, a subsidiary of Wemade Max. The name TAL refers to traditional Korean masks, and the game’s world is built around a reinterpreted mythology and folktales surrounding these masks.
The newly released footage centers on the game’s field environments and combat sequences. It features battles against massive creatures resembling demons or dragons, players riding atop fallen enemies for follow-up attacks, and dramatic limb destruction—such as severing a monster’s arm with a powerful strike.
Additionally, players will have companions who support them in battle. The trailer includes scenes of one character catching another mid-air after being thrown by an enemy, and another deflecting a dragon’s fiery breath using a shield.
