DotMake Studios today (October 24, 2025) released the full version of its PC RPG “Splintered” on Steam, officially launching as Version 1.0. The game is priced at ¥1,200 and will be available at a 30% discount—¥840 (both prices include tax)—until November 7.
This title is inspired by the original Dragon Quest, blending retro-style RPG gameplay with a procedurally generated world. The story begins as a classic fantasy adventure, but eventually transforms into a mysterious realm where terrain, items, and enemy placement are randomly reorganized due to the world’s “Splintering.”
Players can freely combine equipment from nine different职业 paths, unlocking powerful job-specific abilities by leveling up their gear.

The full version adds chapters 4 and 5, concluding the story, along with new challenges such as “The Rogue’s Trial,” and a feature called the Enemy Codex, which lets players check stats of defeated enemies. Equipment in chapter 5 now also features randomized abilities, enabling fresh combinations.
