As the opening of South Korea’s largest gaming convention, G-STAR 2025, draws near, game companies continue to announce their exhibition details.

G-STAR 2025 will take place from November 13 to 16, 2025 at BEXCO in Busan. The event includes BTC (open to the general public) events held in the main hall, BTB (industry professional-focused) exhibitions at the second exhibition venue, and conferences such as “G-CON” hosted in the convention hall. Similar to last year, various gaming-related events—including outdoor activities and indie showcase cases—will be held.

Additionally, on November 12, the day before G-STAR opens, South Korea’s most prestigious gaming award ceremony—the Grand Prize of Korea Game Awards—will take place. Established in 1996, this event is hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and managed by the Korea Game Industry Association, representing the highest honor within the Korean game industry. The Presidential Award, the top prize, goes to the game that achieved the most outstanding results over the past year. In 2024, Netmarble’s “Only I Level Up: ARISE” (available on PC / iOS / Android) received the Presidential Award.
